Harmony Lodge #8
Founded 1809

Our regularly-stated meeting is on the first Thursday
of every month at 7:30 P.M.
MESSAGE FROM THE EAST.
On November 6th, I became the Worshipful Master of Harmony #8. I want to thank all of last year's
officers for their help in preparing me for this year. There will be a lot of Masonic events this
year. We end 2010 with a meeting with the Prince Hall Lodge in Urbana, the widows? luncheon, and
the presentation of Christmas candy to those women. The officers will be busy travelling to the
different Lodges in the 9th district during Inspection season. I would like to invite any Brethren
who have not visited other Lodges for a while to join us this Inspection season. Last year, Harmony
won the award for the most Brethren attending inspections. I would like to win that award again.
I hope to see everyone at either one of our many Masonic events or during Inspection. One date
I would like everyone to put on their calendar is Saturday March 19th , 2011. This is Harmony's
annual inspection. We are doing the EA degree. Times will be forthcoming.
Fraternally,
Jeff Gecowets
